Policy for
Food, Beverage, and Cleanup

Approved March 11, 2008

Purpose:

• The policy is intended to protect the health of people who use the Parkside Playhouse, and to protect the building from damage.

Applicability:

• The policy applies to all activities that use the Parkside Playhouse, including Main Stage, Gold in the Hills, Fairy Tale Theatre, rentals, and special productions or events.

Procedures:

• Trash cans containing food must be emptied daily and placed inside black trash bags before being placed outside in the City garbage can. (The black trash bags have been found to prevent pests from shredding the contents, while the white trash bags do not.)

• Alcoholic beverage is not allowed in the building.
