We regret that it was necessary to cancel the October 2013 Ten-Minute Play Project due to lack of sufficient registration entries. Don't fret, there is still lots to do this weekend in Vicksburg, including Classics in the Courtyard at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center at noon on Friday followed by Hogtoberfest at 7:30 p.m. and the classic western movie Tombstone at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday has the Great Bear Affair in Rolling Fork, Treats on the Street in Downtown, Bridging the Gap, BOO Festival, Ribbon cutting for BOPS, Dr. Tobe Momah's Book signing at the Christian Bookstore on S. Frontage Road, Spooky Pooch at Outlets of Vicksburg, Germanfest at The Lutheran Church of the Messiah, Poetry Reading at Lorelei Books, Welcome to Our Nightmare at the Vicksburg Mall, and Rocky Horror Show at the Westside Theatre Foundation.

We're pleased to present a project to engage audiences and challenge writers, directors, and actors, the Fifth-Annual VTG Ten-Minute Play Project: Vampires, Zombies, and Pirates Oh My! There's only one opportunity to see these original works, written and rehearsed over a 24-hour period by the area's best talent.
Based on similar projects at the Fondren Theatre Workshop in Jackson, the Ten-Minute Play Project challenges the creativity of all involved.
