Fairy Tale Theatre, established in 1985 by Don and Kathryn Resio, now in its sixteenth year, is open to children ages seven through eighteen. This year we had 96 participants. Through Fairy Tale Theatre, children gain experience in many areas of theatre such as learning lines, making costumes, helping with set construction, and working backstage.

We again offered two sessions, an intensive 4-hour-per-day rehearsal schedule as well as an 1-1/2-hour-per-day schedule. The 4-hour-per-day group rehearsed each day from 8:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m. beginning 4 June, and the 1-1/2-hour-per-day session began 28 May with rehearsals starting at 12:30 p.m.

ALL Plays performed the weekend of Thursday-Sunday, 21-24 June, with shows at 10 a.m. (Thursday & Friday only), 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. Each play will have three performances.

Interested adults helped in all areas. Many of the props and sets were made by parents, whose participation has been essential to the program.
