SOUTHERN DISCOMFORT:
Twelve Short Southern Scenes

Audition Information

This production consists of twelve short scenes and monologues. Each scene is independent and could stand alone by itself. Presented together, they form a view of life, love, death, and hope as seen from the perspective of America’s southern states.

Each scene is a jewel! Some are comedic, a few are intense drama; but they all do what good theatre does – they explore what it is that makes us human.

Because of the nature of this production, rehearsals will be very flexible---it will rarely be necessary to assemble the entire cast.  The time each cast member spends at rehearsal should be devoted to working on the scene(s) that he/she is in.

Auditions will consist of individual readings from the script and should take no more than 15 minutes per person.

AUDITIONS are scheduled for Sun Jan. 13 2-5 pm; Mon Jan. 14 7-9pm
In the event that you have a conflict, arrangements can be made to audition at other times.

PERFORMANCE DATES:  Mar 7-9, 14-16
