Save Your Community Theatre We need your help! The Vicksburg Theatre Guild's Parkside Playhouse is in desperate need of repairs, and we need to raise $50,000. The necessary repairs will cost more, but we have been awarded a 60/40 matching-funds grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission Building Fund for the Arts. This award will provide over $31,000 in grant funds if we are successful in raising the local share. Our fundraising goal of $50,000 will allow us to get this grant, complete the most urgent repairs to the exterior walls and replace the auditorium carpet, and enable cost sharing for future Mississippi Arts Commission grant requests.
