My Fair
Lady We are grateful for the support of our generous sponsors.
Auditions:
Saturday October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sunday October 3
from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Closed 13 February 2005 This timeless musical centers around Professor Henry Higgins, a prominent figure in London society, and Eliza Doolittle, a flower saleswoman on the streets of London. Eliza wants to learn how to speak and act like a lady, and she wants Professor Higgins to teach her. Auditions were held October 2nd and 3rd and rehearsals began October 26th. The talented cast conducted music and choreography in October and November, and they completed their first read-through on December 7th. The costumes arrived (thanks to the gracious support of Ameristar) on January 26th, and the cast conducted dress rehearsals through February 3rd. My Fair Lady opened on February 4th to a standing ovation from the audience, and closed on February 13th, also to a standing ovetion. click a thumbnail photo to view more photos
