“Hamlet”

by William Shakespeare.
directed by Shanna Dixon and Preston Lanier.
What would happen if the overseers of a mental institution put their patients into “Hamlet,” one of the most tragic stories ever told? Set in the depths of a mental institution, the antagonists are the hospital staff and the protagonists are the patients. The staff is playing a twisted game with the patients, all in the name of “therapy.” A combination of the original text and the modern translations will create an obvious difference between the two groups.
