“Voices from the Hills” will feature graves of notable citizens from the city’s past as well as highlighting some of the beautiful monumentation that can be viewed along each year’s designated tour path. The inaugural program is being developed to coincide with the city’s 200th anniversary and is slated for October 16-18, 2025. It will feature actor portrayals of citizens and their experiences from the founding of Vicksburg through the late 1800s.
