A Comedy of “Office” Errors, modern translation
Auditions: Sat. Jul. 25 & Mon. Jul. 27, 2026
Shows: Sep. 18-21 & 25-27, 2026
What happens when performance review day collides with a lost father, corporate evaluators who may or may not be long-lost twins, and a wellness consultant nobody asked for? “A Comedy of Office Errors” is a full-ensemble farce that answers that question in the most gloriously chaotic way possible. Loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s “A Comedy of Errors,” this show takes the Bard’s mistaken identities and long-lost family mayhem and drops them straight into the most dysfunctional office you’ve ever seen. The filing system is load-bearing. The coffee pot dies a hero’s death. The elevator has strong opinions about being calibrated. Mistaken identities spiral. Evaluations go sideways. And somehow, against all reasonable odds, the floor holds. This is a comedy with a genuine heart underneath all the beautiful chaos — a story about the strange, stubborn loyalty of people who keep showing up for each other.
